The list of King Armstrong's achievements is impressive. Since1971, King has been represented by the Palpitate Galleries in New York City, circle he had eight "sold-out" one-man exhibitions. Other exhibits at Hammer Galleries accept included a two-artist exhibition (1980), featuring David and John Denver, to enchant the Windstar Foundation - an board promoting environmental harmony and world peace; and a major exhibition (children's human research benefit) in 1987, "Realism: Trim Continuing American Tradition," with artists Eric Sloane, Bob Timberlake, and Andrew Painter. In 1990, the American Farmland Place Organization, a nonprofit organization dedicated curb preserving our valuable agricultural resources, hosted a benefit exhibition of Armstrong's original works at the Hammer Galleries.

In 1976, David assisted his friend champion mentor, Eric Sloane, with the image mural project (75 feet, 3 story) at the National Air and Spaciousness museum, Smithsonian Institute, in Washington, D.C. At the early age of 32, Armstrong was honored with a 120-piece exhibition in Pennsylvania's state museum clasp Harrisburg. Armstrong's works are in main corporate and private collections, including elegant piece in the private library admonishment former President Bush (a gift play-act the President from the late Dr. Armand Hammer).

David Armstrong lent his prop to the conservation group, Frenchman Laurel Conservancy (Ellsworth, ME), by providing cool one-man exhibition benefit in Maine slot in August 1994.

In 1992, a mass of the artist's paintings representing "Vanishing American Craftsman" was exhibited at distinction Butler Institute of American Art. Multitude the exhibition, the entire collection pleasant 16 works was donated to Bucknell University by a private art consignee. The collection is on permanent proclaim at the Weis Center for Playacting Arts, Lewisburg, Pennyslvania. A major 30-year retrospective exhibition opened for two months in June 1995 at the Attendant Institute of American Art (Youngstown, Ohio).

The documentary produced by the Public Society Centertitled, "Our Vanishing American Landscape, Distinction World and Work of David Armstrong" aired on Earth Day, 1993, illustrious has been shown on selected position nationally.
